ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you a detail-driven Estimator – Quantity Surveyor who thrives on accuracy, strategy, and bringing projects to life before they even begin? We’re looking for a proactive and commercially savvy professional to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping successful project outcomes.
Reporting to the Estimating Manager, our Estimator – Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be at the heart of project planning—analysing costs, assessing risks, and delivering precise estimates that drive smart decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure every bid is competitive, realistic, and aligned with our commitment to quality and value.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions
- Bill of quantity generation
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
- Assess project risks and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Work closely with the delivery team to support successful project execution
- Continuously improve estimating processes and tools
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Proven experience as an Estimator (construction/engineering preferred)
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency with estimating software and Excel
- A proactive mindset with a knack for problem-solving
