ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you passionate about customer service and enjoy helping people turn ideas into beautiful bathroom and kitchen spaces? We’re seeking a Showroom Consultant to join our Bathroom & Kitchen Centre at Tableland Hardware – Atherton Branch. This role is all about caring for our customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through product selections that suit their project, budget and style. As a Showroom Consultant, you’ll be the friendly and knowledgeable face of our showroom. You’ll work closely with homeowners, renovators and trades, providing expert advice and creating a welcoming, professional experience from first enquiry through to final selection.
Our store is open 6 days a week, this role may require Saturday work on a rostered basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
You’re passionate about helping people and take pride in delivering a high standard of service every day. You understand that great customer service is about listening, caring and following through.
- Delivering outstanding customer service with genuine care and attention
- Assisting customers with bathroom and kitchen product selections
- Providing confident advice using your plumbing and product knowledge
- Preparing quotes, processing orders and following up enquiries
- Working closely with builders, plumbers and internal teams
- Maintaining attractive, organised and well-presented showroom displays
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- A strong passion for customer service and building relationships
- Sound plumbing knowledge or experience in bathrooms, kitchens or building products
- Confidence speaking with both retail customers and trades
- A professional, friendly and approachable manner
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
- Previous showroom, plumbing or hardware experience (highly regarded)
- Forklift Licence (LF) Advantageous
