ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Store Person to join our busy Door Centre. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day warehouse and dispatch functions, ensuring doors and related products are received, stored, and supplied accurately and safely to our customers.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, hands on and practical environment and takes pride in accuracy, safety, and teamwork.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
- Receive, check, and put away doors, frames, and related products
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch or collection
- Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
- Assist customers and drivers with collections and loading
- Operate forklifts and handling equipment (where licensed)
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Previous experience as a store person or in a warehouse / trade environment
- Forklift licence essential
- Physically fit and comfortable handling large or heavy products
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
