Trade Service Desk Team Member

ABOUT US

Dahlsens Family Group of Companies is a proud, long-standing partner to Australia’s builders, from local trades and serious renovators to large-scale residential and commercial projects. As an Australian family owned and run business, we are committed to supporting the industry and the communities we serve.

We offer a true whole-of-house solution, supporting the build from the ground up - from wall frames and trusses through to doors, hardware, windows, roofing, kitchens, bathrooms, and lifestyle cabinetry. We are here to make building simpler, smarter, and more reliable.

With a legacy dating back to 1877, we continue to evolve, helping builders get the job done right and this is just the beginning.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Sale – Victoria
  • Full-time permanent opportunity + attractive hourly rate + super + working with an awesome team
  • Free uniform and safety boots reimbursement provided up to $120.00
  • Be part of a 145 year old organisation that puts its people first and has their best interests at heart

As a Trade Service & Sales Team Member at our Sale branch, you'll be the face of Dahlsens when our builders and trade customers walk through the door. This is a true hybrid role that blends customer-facing trade sales with hands-on stock and administration support, so no two days look the same.

You'll handle general sales enquiries and processing across the counter, phone and email, take care of branch administration, manage stock inwards as deliveries arrive, look after stock ordering and control, maintain stock integrity and accurate stock locations across the branch, and complete branch banking tasks. When the yard or hardware floor needs an extra hand, you'll jump in to assist with order preparation and customer pick-ups, including forklift operation.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll receive ongoing support, guidance and continued development to grow your sales, product knowledge and branch operations experience.

This is a varied, customer-facing role for someone who loves a chat with builders, takes pride in accuracy with stock and admin, and brings a flexible, can-do attitude every day.
