ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a practical, reliable person to join our Truss Plant team in Winnellie. You’ll help cut and assemble timber frames and roof trusses for local builders, using timber cutting machinery, power tools and good safe work practices every day.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Experience with jig setting or truss fabrication is a bonus, but not essential. If you’re keen, safety-focused and willing to learn, we’d like to hear from you.

Cutting and assembling frames and roof trusses
Using hand tools, power tools and timber cutting machinery
Reading job details, schematics and assembly instructions
Picking timber orders and helping with general yard work
Keeping jobs moving safely, accurately and on time
Handling stock and materials safely to avoid injury or damage

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Physically fit and happy doing hands-on work
Good attention to detail and pride in doing the job properly
A strong focus on safety
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
A positive, can-do attitude
Manual vehicle licence
Forklift licence is a bonus
