ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a reliable, safety minded Truss & Frame Production Worker to join our busy team in Townsville. You’ll be hands-on in our factory, building roof trusses and wall frames and helping us get quality products out to our local builders.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

Truss experience is a big plus, but it’s not a must. What matters most is that you show up, work safely, and are willing to learn.

  • Cut and assemble wall frames and roof trusses
  • Build pre-fab frames and trusses to our plans and specs
  • Pick timber orders and help out with general yard work
  • Keep an eye on stock needs and help prioritise jobs
  • Work to production timeframes without cutting corners on safety or quality
  • Read and follow product drawings and assembly instructions
  • Handle materials safely to avoid injuries and product damage

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • You can safely use basic hand and power tools (or you’re keen to learn) and you look after the gear
  • You’re physically fit and can safely lift and move materials
  • You work safely and look out for the people around you
  • Factory or workshop experience is helpful, but not essential
  • Manual driver licence
  • Forklift licence (LF) is a bonus
